Depot Beach is a small community of only 50 homes on a peninsula surrounded by water on three sides, so it enjoys warm summers and mild winters.
Kentia Cottage is a two storey elevated beach house designed for that special holiday experience or romantic getaway. With glorious northerly beach views of Depot and Pebbly Beaches, direct access to the beach is an easy stroll through the Grey gum and Burrawang forest opposite the beach.
Only three hours from Sydney and two hours from Canberra, the security coded access means that there is no need to pick up keys from Batemans Bay. The short drive into Depot Beach from the Princes Highway is picturesque and the perfect prelude to the coastal views as you approach the Beach.
With 3 large bedrooms (2 x queen size beds, 2 single beds),two bathrooms, large front sun drenched balcony and undercover rear BBQ entertaining area, the beach house offers first class accommodation for up to six guests. The four car garage includes amenities such as table tennis and darts and houses a range of canoes and kayaks available for guest use on Durras Lake.

Located in the heart of the Murramarang National Park, the beach house is a short walk to Depot, Pebbly and Nth Durras beaches and Durras Lake. It is in an ideal location to take advantage of coastal walks, great fishing, kayaking, snorkelling and whale watching. As one of the most pristine national parks on the NSW South Coast, it is a photographers and animal enthusiasts delight. Be entertained by the birds that visit each day on the front balcony or watch the playful kangaroos and their joeys feed on the front lawn. Dolphins cruise the beaches frequently and the headland is a great whale viewing spot during the annual winter migration.
Depot Beach is a calm beach and the headland provides great snorkelling and fishing around the rock shelves. The walk around or over the headland brings you to North Durras Beach and Durras Lake. The local Lake cafe provides great coffee and meals together with essentials like bait and newspapers.
Whatever the weather or season, there are a range of activities available if you want to venture further afield. Numerous easy coastal walks exist or for the more adventurous, try the walk up Durras or Pigeon House Mountain. At Batemans Bay, browse through the shopping arcades and have a meal at any of the boardwalk restaurants. Local farmers markets together with the craft village at Mogo provide hours of fun and dont forget to visit the world famous Mogo Zoo. The South coast is spoilt for its range of golf courses with the 27-hole Catalina Country Club in Batemans Bay and the Mollymook Golf Club nearby. Local wineries offer great food to complement their annual vintages, showcased at the Shoalhaven Wine Festival each June.
