Depot Beach House is situated in the Murramarang National Park.
The house is simple and comfortable; great for a family getaway from the hustle and bustle of the city. Or you may prefer just the two of you. Perfect for that romantic getaway.
The space
The house is directly across the road from the beach, giving you wonderful sounds of the waves crashing to shore. Birds and other wildlife visit often. We offer Starlink Wifi to keep you connected. Mobile reception is limited to the house and parts of Depot Beach. Please do not expect to run your business or take important calls while staying at the house.
The house is basic, an older style beach house. We hope you will find the house comfortable, but please do not expect all the mod cons.
We can offer a short stroll across the road to direct beach access, off street parking for one car, well equipped kitchen for up to 4 guests.
You will have a wonderful feeling of relaxation and peace as you soak up the sounds of the waves, and wonder at the birds and kangaroos, who often visit.
Guest access
Guests have full access to the entire house.
There is a flight of stairs to get to the entrance. Small children will need to be supervised on the deck.
Other things to note
Mobile reception is limited to the house and parts of Depot Beach. Please do not expect to run your business or take important calls while staying at the house.
Its important to mention that linen is supplied to all the beds, however, you will need to bring your own towels and beach towels, also, There is no Wifi at the house. We offer a small amount of hand soap and loo roll, depending on how long your stay is, it would be worth picking up extras.
The laundry is located at the back of the house, separate to the main house. You will find a washing machine and drier there for your use, with a small amount of washing powder.
The house is on tank water, with a pump to run the water to the house when water is turned on. You will hear the pump, but not enough to disturb you. Limit use of washing machine and shorter showers to ensure the water does not run out.
Please clean the BBQ after each use, as there are wildlife around they will be attracted to an unclean BBQ.
There is a small heater provided. The house is fairly small, so won't take much to heat up.
Mosquitoes are about. I have provided some plug in repellent which I can only hope will keep them at bay at night, but unfortunately this is not a guaranteed measure.
Please note this is a family home and parties or schoolies are not allowed and will be asked to vacate.
